# NorrCompetition Profile Link

Automatically link contestant names to their user profiles across Joomla community extensions.

### Overview

**NorrCompetition Profile Link** (`plg_content_ncsubmitter`) transforms contestant names on entry views, contest lists, and leaderboards into clickable links leading to their respective user profiles in Joomla community and social extensions.

### Installation & Updates

1. Install the plugin package via **System > Install > Extensions**.
2. Navigate to **System > Plugins** and search for `Content - NorrCompetition Submitter`.
3. Enable the plugin and select your community component in the **Source** parameter.
4. Provide your **Download Key** to receive automated updates.

### Configuration

Open the plugin in **System > Plugins > Content - NorrCompetition Submitter**.

| **Source** | Dropdown | Yes      | Selects the active third-party profile system used to generate contestant profile URLs. |

#### Supported Profile Systems

* **Community Builder** (`cb`)
* **Easy Profile** (`easyprofile`)
* **EasySocial** (`easysocial`)
* **JomSocial** (`jomsocial`)
* **Joomla Contacts** (`joomla_contacts`) — links to core `com_contact` contact details
* **Kunena** (`kunena`) — links to Kunena forum user profile

If a contest entry was submitted by a guest (unregistered user) or if the linked user profile is no longer published, the contestant name renders as plain text without a broken hyperlink.
