# Plugin installation

Learn how to install the Unzer HPP payment plugin for Phoca Cart.

**Unzer HPP for Phoca Cart** can be installed just like any standard Joomla extension.

### Installation steps

1. Download the latest release package of **Unzer HPP for Phoca Cart** from the [NorrNext website](https://norrnext.com).
2. Log in to your Joomla Administrator control panel.
3. Navigate to **System > Install > Extensions** (or **Extensions > Manage > Install** in earlier Joomla interfaces).
4. Under the **Upload Package File** tab, drag and drop the downloaded ZIP file or click **Browse for file** to upload it.
5. Joomla will verify compatibility with your environment (Joomla 5.4+ and PHP 8.2+) and install the extension files.

The plugin is enabled automatically during installation by the extension installer script. You can verify its status under **System > Plugins** (search for `pcp` or `unzerhpp`).

### Plugin updates

You can take full advantage of the **Joomla Update System** to receive and apply new versions with a single click whenever an update is released.

To receive automated updates directly in your Joomla dashboard:

1. Log in to your account on the NorrNext site and copy your **Download ID**.
2. In Joomla Administrator, go to **System > Update Sites** or add your Download ID under **System > Plugins > Phoca Cart Payment - Unzer HPP**.
